The Suir, the Barrow and the Nore gather almost a third of Ireland before they reach the sea at Waterford. Our distillery stands on Grattan Quay, beside the Suir.

The city built by barrels
Long before whiskey, barrels of Bordeaux wine rolled across these quays. Waterford learned to receive, protect and trust what travelled in oak. We make Irish whiskey here, on the quay, and keep the city at the centre of the story.

History
Eight centuries on the quays
Vikings, Normans, wine merchants, coopers, brewers. Every generation in Waterford added something before passing the city on. Whiskey joins that story; it does not start it.
